The initial goal of this site was twofold. First to create a living memory for Diana and I and our son of the journey and struggle of our experience with cancer. A memory from which we can continue to remember all that we’ve learned and how much God has brought us through. And second, to post videos and pictures of the procedures for others that are interested.
When we first learned of all that Diana would need to go through we were at a loss for information. You can certainly read all about the procedures but it’s difficult to see how they are done. Hopefully we’ve added at least some of the information we would have wanted to find to this site.
Diana’s thoughts were also recorded by our friend Jenny Cantu on her blog before she completed treatment. You can find that here.
Hi, my name is Josh. I lost my father to cancer when I was 8. I’m 25 now. As silly as it sounds, It was lovely to read your story to see that surviving is a possibility. We’ve lost other family and family friends through the chemo as well. Congratulations! And thanks for telling your story.

What a beautiful story and thank you for sharing…. As a stage-4 non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma patient/warrior since 2012, I walk in Diana’s shoes, and was blessed with 18-months of remission until facing a relapse this past September, now preparing for the next chemo cocktail chapter. It’s wonderful to be able to express and share the journey, ideally to enable our families and friends to better understand this experience – like Diana, I found my strength early on and smiled and brought joy to all along the way. Remember to take every step forward strong and believing that you can do this, and enjoy this journey of life we are blessed to share.
